Mini Camp at Camp Howard is a great way to introduce 6-10 year olds to a sleepaway camp, or to add extra confidence to those with limited time away from home. At 3 nights, our trained staff ensure that kids experience all that Camp Howard has to offer that age group: swimming, corcl paddling in the pond, pedal carts, Narnia play, slip-n-slide, campfire night skits and songs, and more! Making new friends and building self-confidence comes standard at Camp Howard. See you there!

Specialty Camp Option for Week 2: Fishing Camp

Whether new or experienced, it's great fun at Camp Howard's stocked pond.  Our specialty camp leader will help you develop the basics of using bait, casting your line, setting your hook, and reeling in your trout.

Instructor: Karen von Borstel, property director.

Specialty Camp Option for Week 3: Survival Camp, Basketball Camp, and Volleyball Camp

A favorite last summer! Trek across Camp Howard as you learn to build a fire, build a shelter and catch your dinner (fishing). A last day of making s'mores is included!
