I’m pleased to welcome you to Catholic Youth Organization/Camp Howard. We are Oregon and SW Washington’s largest private youth sport program, offering eight sports as well as middle school dances during Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. Camp Howard provides summer camp experiences for children of all backgrounds in a beautiful setting in the Mt. Hood Wilderness.

Our programs are an extension of our Catholic and Christian schools and parish programs. We are supported by incredible volunteers including coaches, athletic directors and event personnel who are parents and parishioners just like you.

Archbishop Alexander K. Sample believes that “CYO and Camp Howard are one of the greatest investments that we can make in the future lives of our young people.” Youth enjoy sports and camp experiences in a faith-based environment because we proudly incorporate the teachings of the Catholic Church into every activity. Sports and camp experiences build teamwork, character and confidence in our youth, resulting in healthier and more active communities.

I started at CYO/Camp Howard in 1997, and I continue to be passionate about ensuring that the Spirit of CYO is infused into every program that we offer. Together we are making great memories possible for our youth. I look forward to seeing you in the gym, on the field or at camp.
