Catholic Outdoor Education (CODE)

Welcome to Catholic OutDoor Education (CODE)

Our CODE program is a faith-based outdoor school experience at Camp Howard, combining a science and nature curriculum with a Catholic spirituality and appreciation of God’s creation. We are located outside of Corbett, Oregon, allowing kids to explore, learn, and create in the great outdoors.

Our three-night, four-day program is a wonderful chance for 6th graders to shape their confidence, knowledge, and personal relationship with God. Our hands-on curriculum is based on the Oregon science standards, helping kids learn and grow while having fun.

Visit our Family Resource page or Teacher Resource page if you're looking for more info or helpful links!

OutDoor Education with a focus on Religion

Throughout the week, students will share and grow in their faith, deepening their personal relationship with God. We will come together in daily prayer, learn to pray the rosary, reflect during our special prayer walk, celebrate Mass, and appreciate all of God’s wonderful creations.
