Important Notes
Minimum of 8 players are required for each team.
Two exception players are allowed per team. Exception players are non-Valley students who live within our boundaries. Requests are not guaranteed. They will be notified of acceptance on Nov. 1.
If there are 16 players registered in a grade, there will be two teams formed. If there are enough players for two teams, the following format will apply:
3rd and 4th grade will be balanced teams.
There will be a skills assessment practice with coaches determining rosters.
5th thru 8th grade will be split according to skill level with A and B teams.
There will be a skills assessment practice with outside evaluators. Parents will not be allowed to attend.
Skill Assessments
November 20th @ Valley Catholic
5th Grade Girls - 3:30 - 4:30 PM
6th/7th Grade Girls - 4:30 - 5:30 PM
5th/6th Grade Boys - 5:30 - 6:30 PM
November 21st @ Valley Catholic
7th/8th Grade Boys - 3:30 - 4:30 PM
Players MUST be present for these assessments to be considered for an A team. There will be NO make-up assessments.
Tentative assessment dates for 5th-8th grade teams is Nov. 18
The practice schedule will not be known until early November. There will be two per week for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
