HUMAN KINETICS COACH EDUCATION (HKCE) TRAINING

 (formerly known as A.S.E.P. (American Sport Education Program) Training

 

HKCE is a one-time Certification Program AND IS AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY.

This class is required for all coaches in the CYO program. You must be certified in ASEP BEFORE you can become a certified coach with CYO.

The link below will take you to the HKCE/CYO website. You must register as a new user and pay a $35 fee for the "Catholic Coaching Essentials Online Course".

Please be aware that they recommend other sport specific courses that are not required, so be sure you are purchasing the correct test.

 

1) Create an account with HKCE here: https://coacheducation.humankinetics.com/account/register - when registering for your account, select CYO/Camp Howard as your organization.

 

2) Purchase the CYOCH Catholic Coaching Essentials online course here: https://coacheducation.humankinetics.com/collections/341

3) If needed follow Step-By-Step instructions to purchase the course.

4) After you have completed your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation via email, as well as instructions for accessing your online course.  You can return to your course by visiting https://coacheducation.humankinetics.com/pages/online-courses
, and logging in with the same credentials (user name & password) used to create your account. Email confirmation will come from: webserver@hkusa.com

 

5) Once you have completed and passed your test with an 80%, or higher, you will have the ability to print a certificate of your course completion to document your achievement.  Please download you certificate and forward a copy to your Athletic Director.
