BECOME A REFEREE FOR CYO SPORTS
Are you an adult or high school student who would like to be a part-time referee and earn extra spending money?
CYO Sports are an extension of our Catholic and Christian schools and parish programs. We serve youth in NW Oregon and SW Washington; North to Camas, South to Salem, West to Forest Grove and East to Gresham.
We are finished hiring for our CYO 2025-26 Track & Field Season. We are looking for passionate, supportive people that model Christian values. Select the green button below to begin the process of becoming a referee for the sport you wish to officiate.

Training Dates: Once you are given an officiating assignment for the 25.26 Season. You will recieve your training instructions via email.
All trainings take place at LaSalle unless otherwise instructed.
Youth Sports Referee Responsibilities
1) Promotion and enforcement of safe play in all leagues.
2) Game management and enforcement of specific rules of play.
3) Providing a great customer experience of sportsmanship and fair play.
Trainings for referees begin one month prior to each sport season start. Ongoing support is available throughout the season.
Schedule
- The Track & Field season runs April through May.
- Part-time employment opportunity.
- Regular season: Saturday mornings (7 AM - 1:30 PM).
- Championships: May 9th (Roadrunner Championships), May 16-17th (Meet of Champions.
- Locations include: Valley Catholic, La Salle High School, Seton Catholic High School, Liberty High School.
