BASKETBALL GRADES 3RD-8TH

2025-2026 BASKETBALL SEASON INFORMATION

REGISTRATION FEE - $275 per participant until November 15
*Fee includes, CYO fees, end of season tournament fees, gym rental, and coaching fees
LATE REGISTRATION FEE - $325 per participant starting November 15
 UNIFORM FEE - Parents will be required to purchase uniforms, both a jersey and shorts. The link to purchase uniforms will be provided after registration closes.
Below you will find the link to purchase the uniforms for this upcoming season. You are only obligated to purchase a player pack. (Jersey and shorts) Please locate your child's grade level and order from that player pack. Jersey numbers are first come first serve.

SEASON and SCHEDULE -
Games on Saturdays from January to February
End of Season Tournament starts in March
Winter Season: November to March
Schedule: Regular Season Games on Saturdays, Optional end of season Championships

PRACTICE SCHEUDLE - 2 per week, 1.5 hour and 1 hour each

COACH INFORMATION - Coaches are selected by the Athletic Director (AD) and St. Anthony CYO Board based on knowledge of the game, prior coaching experience, and good standing with the CYO and St. Anthony community.
Past Coaches for St. Anthony CYO that fall under the rule of good standing with the CYO and St. Anthony Community will be looked at first.

TEAM INFORMATION
Minimum of 8 players are required for each team. Two exception players are allowed per team. Exception players are non-St. Anthony students/Parishioners who live within our boundaries. Requests are not guaranteed.

If there are 16 players registered in a grade, there will be two teams formed. If there are enough players for two teams, the following format will apply:

3rd thru 5th grade will be balanced teams.
There will be a skills assessment practice to determining rosters evenly.

6th thru 8th grade will be split according to skill level.
There will be a skills assessment practice with outside evaluators. Parents or potential coaches will not be allowed to attend.

Players MUST be present for these assessments to be considered for a team. There will be NO make-up assessments.
