CALLED TO PROTECT

CYO has partnered with the Archdiocese to stop sexual abuse. In doing so, ALL coaches within CYO are required to be certified in the “Called to Protect” program. CYO will accept certification through your school or parish; or you may take the course at the CYO Office. Check class schedule below. You must reserve a spot with the CYO office. Space is limited so plan ahead. Classes are subject to change.

DOORS WILL CLOSE AT START OF CLASS AND LATE ATTENDEES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER. PLEASE SHOW UP TO CLASS EARLY, BEFORE THE START TIME! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

Called to Protect Informational Brochure

Called to Protect is a requirement for all CYO coaches, which is the same program done in local Catholic schools and parishes. If you are certified in Called to Protect through your school or parish then you just need to give a copy of your certificate to your athletic director.

Classes are available at many parishes/schools, but is offered at the CYO office almost daily, during the school year. For your convenience we have several times during the week.
